So, because I am a hopeless nerd, I have been diligently following the Coachella site waiting for the lineup, even though I know 70% of who will be there already. It is my big splurge every year, paying almost $100 to spend one day in the desert with 30 bands and bringing lots of cash for $2 bottles of water. Where else can I see The International Noise Conspiracy unless I'm in Sweden? Where else can I see people in their 30's and 40's get their groove on? I like Vegas, but never get quite as giddy as I do for Coachella and the fun lovin' hippies around Palm Springs. And it was good.
