settling in

Settling into the new apartment, everything is still a total mess, but at least it's mine, and I don't have to deal with asshole landlords watching over my shoulder every day. My old Starbucks manager will be adopting my turtle pete, which is really exciting because i was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a home for her. It does suck to not be able to have pets, but ultimately, it will make life easier. Just getting into the groove of being poor and totally on my own, but it feels nice. I will be primarily a Target and 99 cents store whore, but hey, at least I will be saving money.
